Origin story — Life2Film to SuperDuperAI, second mountain

Started Life2Film in 2014: help people turn everyday moments into meaningful stories. Not just videos — a way to reflect on life. Technology wasn’t ready, people weren’t ready, I wasn’t ready. Closed in 2021.

A decade later, AI matured. SuperDuperAI isn’t a new beginning — it’s the second chapter. Every product is a step toward the original vision: tools that help people reflect, create, and own their narrative.

David Brooks’ “second mountain”: first mountain is success, achievement, money. Second mountain is meaning, contribution, legacy. I see the second one now.

Roots: teacher by education (computer science), activist by experience (environmental work in Bashkortostan), nomad by choice (borders are lines on maps), father and builder (products start at home: FaceAlarm from wife’s face massage business, QuestSchool from homeschooling kids).

Where I’m going: the ability to go from zero to one. Each product is an experiment. “If in 10 years someone describes my contribution, I want them to say: he made things that didn’t exist before, and they made a difference.”
